The name for the special abilities displayed by MITs. Chondrias are categorized into four different types.[1][2] To help students remember these types, they are often taught "The Chondria Song" at the institutes.
Utso
Utso Chondrias give an MIT power over space-time, energy, and matter. There are four main kinds of utso chondrias: "Protei," "Oracles," "Metranters," and "Etumi." The most telling sign of Utso Chondrias is knowledge about unintuitive things, but they can also be more direct.
Protei
Allows the MIT to use their bodies as mediums to transport energy.
Oracle
Oracles deal with space-time and can see visions of the past, present, and future as well as play with chance. At the most basic, untrained level, oracles experience 'premonitions', or short flashes of what is to come, where to go, or a warning to avoid some danger. Sometimes premonitions manefest as nothing more then a bad feeling.
With training Oracles can gain some level of control over their visions, able to direct them towards a specific question, however they do not seem to be able to change or prevent the events they see in their visions of the future though, at least in Fai's case, they are always there to see the results. Visions are often confusing and full of symbolism that needs to be deciphered to understand them.
Oracles are able to experience prophecies, though at this time it is unclear what the difference between a prophecy and a normal vision is or what the normal method of receiving one is. A quantum sphere can be used to help an Oracle experience a prophecy, and may be used to enhance their abilities in general[3].
Oracles are also capable of creating disks of energy that can be thrown and their movement controlled. These disks can be of seemingly any size, and work as shields, cutting weapons, and can be ridden.

Alows the MIT to manipulate space, some may be able to teleport.
Etumi
Allows the MIT to control matter.

Vehc
Vehc Chondrias allow for control over forces and movement. These are the most visible Chondrias and have a direct effect on the environment. There exists 'Vectors' which work like a net of threads and planes that no one else can see, and the MIT is essentially able to pull and manipulate these threads and planes, moving objects or themselves.
Weaver
Weavers can manipulate the vectors to effect themself and other objects in various ways, such as making themself or other things float, or increase their own strength by redirecting other forces.

Baelta
This encompasses the creation and manipulation, of and/or ability to asses or read auras and illusions.
Illusionist
Illusionists are able to pretend and hide, conjuring illusions.
Sensor
Sensers are able to read or "sense" things about other such as auras.
Caster
Casters are able to "create paths" and draw in the air with their energy. On earth it is taught that these Chondria's are more aesthetic then useful, however Dotsu's useage shows us different.

Kel
Kel Chondria deal with the mind, involving memories, feelings, and life. They are able to see and manipulate Poluk.
Whisperer
Allows the MIT to read minds. This is the most common type of Kel Chondria, and is not very exact unless used by a powerful MIT. Powerful Whisperers can speak in the minds of others, allowing themself to be understood despite language barriers.

Bridger
On Earth there are only rumors that this Chondria allows the MIT to speak and communicate with spirits. Bridgers are channelers, allowing them to 'bridge' things like energy.

Molder
On Earth it is taught that this Chondria allows the MIT to manipulate the substance of ones soul. Molders can heal others by consuming Poluk. Molders can heal fairly severe wounds completely, leaving only a scar[4].

Puppeteer
A rare and very powerful Chondria that allows the MIT to control the minds of others, able to control the persons movements and potentially access their powers as Nimm seems to retains her enhanced strength while controlled by Alex[5].

Secondary Bonds
Secondary bonds are rare occurrences in which MITs are able to tap in to two luos (dimensions) rather than one. These bonds are known to be highly unstable and do not work as seamlessly as one might assume. No information is known about the majority of these bonds, sans Baelta-Kel.
Baelta-Kel
A Baelta-Kel chondria deals with the memories of the people around them, rather than just auras or just thoughts.
