Story

History

Fai was abandoned by her parents at the Quianto Institute as a child and has no memories of her life before the Institute, her earliest memory being of the night when she was left at the Institute.

Personality

Fai is a very kind and loyal person, trying her best to help people. She also seems to have fairly low self esteem, and gets anxious easily. Fai seems to take a lot of responsibility upon herself, always pushing herself to try and do as much as possible to help out, even when she is exhausted. Fai, at the beginning of the series was quite shy and passive, however, as the story went on, she started developing her leadership skills a lot more, coming into her own gradually.

Abilities

Chondria Abilities

Fai is an Oracle, and has displayed all abilities related to that Chondria. Fai has very little control over her abilities, and is unaware of most of the details of what she can do or how it works. She has difficulty understanding her visions and premonitions, leading to her having a lot of self doubt. Currently, Fai can not control her visions, only able to have one vision a day, which comes on without warning and generally leaves her unconscious for hours. In addition to this, Fai sometimes has visions in her sleep which she struggles to distinguish from a normal dream.

Fai has only recently discovered the ability to create energy disks, and is still struggling to do so on command.

The opening scene of the comic, this is Fai's first vision over the course of the comic. It occurred while she was sleeping, leading her to be unsure if it was a vision or a dream, but still ultimately acted on it, attempting to prevent the events but ultimately failing.

The Frozen Sea

Fai's vision during the attack by the foxalopes in episode 10. The first time we see Emma.

The Dream

A reoccurring dream that Fai has about a frozen sea and the sky.

This is Wrong

A vision Fai has while the corrupted fouval is attacking, we only see a small bit of the visuals, she speaks the rest aloud as seemingly random quotes

Emma

While Alex is controlling her Fai's vision changes and we see Emma and the frozen sea again, with a clue inside it.

The Nightmare

A nightmare Fai has. We see Emma in the frozen sea once again, a clue, and Anne's death

The Crash

When touching a small doll found at the crash site, Fai has a vision of what happened to the ship and those on it. Takes place over two episodes.

Relationships

Susi

Fai is quite close with Susi, seeming to look up to her quite a bit. Susi offered for Fai to take on Susi's own last name as her own so they could be 'real sisters' and this seemed to mean a lot to Fai. Fai seems to be a bit codependent on Susi, as she always thinks about what Susi would do when faced with a situation.

Phillip

Fai consistently made an effort to get closer to Phil, getting frustrated when Alex picks on him or calls him "Freckles." She makes sure to advance their friendship at a pace that Phil is comfortable with, and she relates to Phil's feeling of being outcasted, of being different from everyone else.

Alex

Fai sometimes takes the role of reprimanding Alex when it comes to his treatment of Phil (i.e: when he calls him "Freckles). The two, in a way, especially Fai, help keep the group in check when it comes to doing potentially dangerous things -- such as eating an acid fruit.

Anne

Fai always values Anne's opinion and ever since learning that she was a Koo, does whatever she can to make sure she doesn't forget about her.
